AZ boosted their European ambitions with a 2-1 home victory over fellow top-eight hopefuls PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
Early goals from Steven Berghuis and Nemanja Gudelj put the hosts well in control, before Mustafa Saymak pulled one back shortly before the break to give Zwolle hope.
