England manager Roy Hodgson does not believe captain Wayne Rooney has a temperament issue in the wake of his three-game Premier League ban.

Rooney will miss Manchester United’s clash with Everton on Sunday, as well as fixtures against West Brom and Chelsea in October after kicking out at Aston Villa’s Stewart Downing
